Check the exact device

Menu names and behavior can vary by US hardware revision and firmware. This guide was researched from official material, not tested on a physical router.

Applies to: Verizon WNC-CR200A, ARC-XCI55AX, ASK-NCQ1338 and ASK-NCQ1338FA integrated gateways.

Official evidence: WNC-CR200A wired connection, Verizon cube gateway wired LAN ports, Verizon 5G Home Equipment Identification.

Before you begin

  • Know the model and use a functioning Ethernet cable and test computer.
  • Record baseline Wi-Fi and provider activation symptoms before changing configuration.

What to check / do

  1. The Verizon model guides show two gray LAN interfaces on these gateway families; do not confuse them with fiber ONT or router WAN.
  2. Plug a diagnostic device into a designated LAN port and check for link, DHCP address and default gateway.
  3. If wired works but Wi-Fi fails, move diagnostics to wireless security, SSID/radio and client settings.
  4. If wired and wireless both fail, inspect gateway activation, cellular signal and provider status before editing Wi-Fi channels.
  5. If only one port fails, compare cable, client NIC and second LAN port without assuming the gateway is bricked.

Verify the result

  • One wired test path reports link and internet when provider service is working.
  • Result separates WAN/activation from wireless issues.

If the result is not what you expected

  • Stop changing settings if you cannot identify the model or a reliable administrator recovery path.
  • Use the exact manufacturer support link below and quote your hardware label, firmware version, and what changed.

Restore / undo

Remove only the temporary Ethernet test cable. Do not factory reset based solely on a failed speed test.

Evidence, limits and editorial disclosure

Technical claims are based on the linked manufacturer or ISP page as checked on 2026-11-01. This is an independent explanatory checklist, not a claim that RouterFix tested the device. Hardware revision, regional SKU and firmware menus may differ. Unverified functions must remain unknown.
